The Return of Myth in GUCCI Design
In my opinion it is drawn from the 80’s and the early 90’s, with a more romantic modern touch.If you are looking for wide chic evening dresses, Chloe, Iceberg and Alberta Ferretti support this style in a very flattering fall collections. However, my favorite collection is Elie Saab’s. His dresses are so inspiring, the fabrics and figures are fluently draped on the body, and convey elegance.
They create special fashion collections using vintage techniques together with embroidering and stitching on jeans. It would be correct to say that almost every famous designer company has some jeans models for both men and women.Jeans play an extremely important role in the modern lifestyle of the US citizens. They are never considered any more a traditional casual clothing. Many designer companies and fashion brands started to speculate on the jeans style topic.
“Filled with dreamy computer-game landscapes, scary monsters, rocket ships, carousels and nearly naked post-pubescent models engaged in elaborate mock battles,” quoting the NYTimes (see* at the end of this blog entry). “Last Riot” was the end of the world, newly expressed in chic visual garb.
If it’s anything like their previous shows you’ll be amazed at the level of talent, artistry, and professionalism the students demonstrate, plus you’ll be among the first to get a glimpse of what may be the future’s top fashion designers.Maybe because I’m an alumn I might be a tad biased, but if you have any fashionista inklings whatsoever, you DO NOT want to miss this year’s California College of the Arts Senior Fashion Show, May 8, 2009.
