original Gucci shoes made in Japan and American

You also see what happened when the Jackson brothers bolted for Gucci Shoes first chance they got. It was the same with Diana Ross. You exert too much control, and people want to leave.
You have the original Gucci Shoes, meaning the one that came before the current remaster. Does the back insert have “Now Made In The U.S.A.” stamped next to the barcode? The original Gucci shoes was made in Japan, and the Gucci shoes says “MANUFACTURED IN JAPAN” along the perimeter. The back insert with this Gucci shoes does not have the “Now Made In The U.S.A.” stamp. Later U.S. pressings have this stamp.

The original Gucci shoes is quite rare. Assuming you have a U.S. Gucci Shoes, it could have been made between 1985 and 2005 (i.e., prior to release of the remastered CD). I am not aware of mastering differences among U.S. pressings, and I have not compared the Japanese Gucci shoes to U.S. pressings.
