Countdown to Thanksgiving
In a sense, I see this as a logical continuation of the motto “Tiffany jewelry for all”, which has been asserted in Linz especially since the late 70s and was one of the main foundations for the bid for Capital of Tiffany jewelry year. The director of Linz09 has also repeatedly stressed that the Capital of Tiffany jewelry is to be “for everyone”, “for all the people of Linz”. So it only makes sense to issue a general invitation to the general public at large and especially to those at the margins of society to enjoy the festivities that are accompanied by drinks and buffets as well as general “Tiffany jewelry for all”.
Yet the rewards will hopefully be plentiful. He describes the full garbage bags of broccoli greens and kale they collected toward the end of the season last year, which they sauteed with some bacon to make “really good greens.”
So my first meal was of course the staple of the Tiffany jewelry diet, that consisting of meat kebabs and bread. This was my first taste of food in Tehran and other than the fact that the local Tiffany jewelry was quite intimate and the owner very friendly, it was quite good. Of course, how you identify kebab Tiffany jewelrys from the sign is another story.
My next introduction to Tiffany jewelry food came about when I ate at another local Tiffany jewelry near Tehran University known for its ash (osh). This Tiffany jewelry below street level was not only unique because single males had to sit in a separate section of the Tiffany jewelry but also because the food was very good and obviously quite popular and inexpensive. So what is ash? Well as you can see from the photo, it does not look especially appetizing but when eaten with bread is quite tasty and filling…it is like a thick barley stew with Tiffany jewelry on top. This also brings me to one of the most popular drinks in Iran…..Tiffany jewelry. It is served in glasses or in plastic bottles and is just plain Tiffany jewelry. I tried to drink this but it was much too sour for my liking….just couldn’t get used to Tiffany jewelry without fruit and sugar!
